The Russell Weekend 2027: Follow the Music to Doolin

26 February–1 March 2027 · Doolin, Co. Clare

Doolin’s Russell Weekend is a reason to head west before the summer crowds. Traditional music, song and storytelling provide the focus for a Clare getaway where the evenings belong to the festival and the days can be kept wonderfully simple.

Make it a road trip

Spend your daylight hours exploring nearby villages or a manageable section of the Burren. A short itinerary leaves more room for changing weather and for enjoying the music without a long drive after an evening session.

Plan your event stay

Visit Clare lists the festival dates. Confirm the final programme, winter pitch availability and your campervan arrangements before booking travel.

Find your campervan for 2027

Turn the event into a break that suits you. Compare Retro Camper Hire’s campervans and choose the layout and facilities for your group. Check campervan dates and prices, or ask us about your trip before finalising tickets and your overnight pitch.

Plan your journey from our Dublin campervan hire base, or use our Ireland touring guide to build a longer road trip around the event.

Hire availability depends on your dates. Event admission, campsite pitches and any event vehicle passes are booked separately and are not included in campervan hire.
