Connemarathon 2027: Run the Race, Stay for Connemara

25 April 2027 · Connemara, Co. Galway

Heading to Connemarathon on 25 April 2027? Turn race weekend into a memorable Connemara escape with Retro Camper Hire. Whether you’re running or cheering someone on, a campervan gives your group a flexible base for the days around the event. Plan to arrive before race day, follow the organiser’s shuttle and road-access instructions, and allow time to recover before exploring Galway or Connemara’s dramatic coastal scenery. Reserve a legal overnight pitch separately; race entry and event transport are not included in campervan hire.

Make it a road trip

Arrive ahead of race day, follow the organiser’s transport instructions and keep the following day light. With extra time, add a separate Galway stop or a gentle Connemara drive suited to the weather and your energy levels.

Plan your event stay

Race access and start-point transport are organiser-managed arrangements. Check them before choosing a campsite, and avoid planning a long drive immediately after running.

Find your campervan for 2027

Retro Camper Hire offers campervan hire all year round, subject to vehicle availability. Turn the event into a break that suits you. Compare Retro Camper Hire’s campervans and choose the layout and facilities for your group. Check campervan dates and prices, or ask us about your trip before finalising tickets and your overnight pitch.

Plan your journey from our Dublin campervan hire base, or use our Ireland touring guide to build a longer road trip around the event.

Hire availability depends on your dates. Event admission, campsite pitches and any event vehicle passes are booked separately and are not included in campervan hire.
