Ploughing Championships 2027: Make Rathangan Your Campervan Base

21–23 September 2027 · Boherkill, Rathangan, Co. Kildare

Plan time for the National Ploughing Championships as the 2027 event heads to Boherkill, Rathangan. Three announced September days give visitors a chance to organise a Kildare break around the show.

Make it a road trip

Decide which day or days you want to attend, then build your hire period around the published traffic plan. A separate overnight base can give you a steadier start than relying on a very early long-distance drive.

Plan your event stay

Check the NPA’s ticket and access information for 2027. Confirm overnight accommodation separately: daytime show parking does not itself authorise campervan camping.

Find your campervan for 2027

Turn the event into a break that suits you. Compare Retro Camper Hire’s campervans and choose the layout and facilities for your group. Check campervan dates and prices, or ask us about your trip before finalising tickets and your overnight pitch.

Plan your journey from our Dublin campervan hire base, or use our Ireland touring guide to build a longer road trip around the event.

Hire availability depends on your dates. Event admission, campsite pitches and any event vehicle passes are booked separately and are not included in campervan hire.
