Automatic gearbox, manual licence required: the current hire terms require a full manual licence, including for Maverick. An automatic-only licence does not meet those terms.

Your booking costs: pay the hire price and selected extras when booking. The €1,000 security deposit is separate and payable at collection.

What you pay, and when

Pay when booking: 100% of the quoted hire price, plus any selected extras shown in your final booking total. Search prices cover the displayed hire dates.
Pay at collection: A €1,000 security deposit, separate from the hire price. Confirm the accepted payment method, any fees and refund timetable in writing before paying for your hire.
Optional extras and liability reduction: Review each extra and its charging basis in the booking breakdown. A paid liability-reduction option is separate from the security deposit; read its limits and exclusions.
Cancellation: Cancellation within 30 days of collection is non-refundable under the published policy, without affecting statutory rights. For cancellations made at least 30 days before collection, obtain the applicable refund and any charges in writing before booking.

Drivers must be aged 25–70 and meet the licence and insurance requirements.

Travel outside Ireland requires prior written approval for your route, vehicle and insurance. Confirm permission before booking.
All prices quoted include insurance. The insurance covers standard liability only.

Maverick has an automatic gearbox, but our current hire terms still require a full manual licence valid for the vehicle category, ordinarily held for at least 24 months, with insurer approval. An automatic-only licence does not meet those terms. Confirm driver and licence approval before paying.
Collection and return: Collection Monday–Friday, 14:00–16:00. Return and self-check-out must be completed before 12 noon on your return day. The self-check-out process is explained when you arrive at our depot. Weekend collection is by prior arrangement.
